The materials will make a difference in my students' learning by allowing them to use a different mode of learning. By using the pocket charts, their materials will be in order and in a specific place as routine and consistency is critical for their success. My students also enjoy playing teacher and using the dry-erase boards as a way of showing what they know. All students love feeling successful and feeling like they matter. For the boys and girls in my classroom, they do not always get this opportunity because people immediately believe they can't learn. By incorporating these materials in my classroom, I will be giving these students an opportunity that would not otherwise be possible. We will use the white boards for math and science, the organizational chart for holding our classroom materials, and the bins for keeping our papers and projects organized.
