Living in a high poverty neighborhood without universal preschool means that Kindergarten is often a child’s first exposure to school. Kindergarten children learn to be independent and grow by leaps and bounds socially, emotionally and academically in the space of a year! It’s so exciting! Our classroom is in an architecturally beautiful building, but many years ago, the coat room was converted to a bathroom and there is no other place for storage! This project for lockers will help us to build a predictable daily routine for organization so we can focus on learning and build a safe and secure learning environment.

About my class
