Two rolling whiteboards would be a great tool in the English Language Arts classroom. This year English classes will have two English teachers in each class. Supporting students with two teachers will help students access the skills they need to succeed in a variety of ways. Teachers need the flexibility of whiteboards to breakdown the lesson either in groups or individually. Having access to a whiteboard will give each student access to direct teaching. Studies have shown that more one-to-one teaching will assist students and the achievement gap will close. School student surveys were given out and one student responded by asking for more one-to-one support. This year since there will be two teachers in each English classroom, and having a whiteboard will allow the teacher to give the support students are requesting.
