I will use these materials to help my students learn the different aspects of running a successful business. The students will be split into teams and compete to see who can create and produce a t-shirt that will sell more than other groups. This real-life experience will help students develop skills including estimating start-up cost, product design, oversee the production of their product, how to market the product, manage capital, access customer demand, and more. Funding this project will allow my students to gain first-hand knowledge of the importance of real-life business skills. Participating in this project will allow my students to make mistakes, fix errors, expanding their horizons. It will teach and guide them in ways an in-class lesson could not. Please help me give my students a lesson they will long remember and an experience they are not likely to forget.
