Do you remember curling up in a comfy spot with a good book and getting lost? This is what I want for my students. I want them to have a cozy place in my classroom to sit, learn, and read. I can just picture my students sitting on the stools and sharing their books with each other. Or, getting comfortable laying on the carpet reading, talking, and being creative. An enjoyable, welcoming classroom environment is essential for my young learners to grow. This project will allow my students to have a more flexible seating arrangement for reading and learning. Allowing Kindergarteners room for movement and to spread out gives all students an opportunity for an engaging learning environment. The shorter bookshelves provide a better option for students to easily reach books of their likings and quickly jump into their book. I'm excited about all the creative possibilities this new classroom library space will provide.
