This year my classroom is in need of a fresh start. A lot of items that I need are missing. The items I listed will make a difference in my students learning because the resources are lacking and will help aid in student learning tremendously. The students are all from different socioeconomic backgrounds and need all sorts of resources to combat learning. The items I listed, will be used throughout the year and will be part of curriculum materials that are important as they guide what activities can be done within the classroom and assess how the lesson will be taught. High-quality items such as sticky notes provide structure to engage students in science practices. For example: Students can use sticky notes to make comments about the lesson plan at the end of each class period and write down what they have learned, what they found the most difficult within the lesson that we covered so that we can perhaps go over it again the next day in the do now to combat any detail they missed out on or something that they did not understand. An important high quality item within the list is notepads, which can help implement students learning and extend their writing skills where they have to take several notes during the lesson. A lot of the students come from different socioeconomic statuses and do need the resources such as paper to even be able to write in something. Many of the materials will make a difference in students learning because it will keep the student be engaged in the classroom as they will have all resources they need at hand.
