Through my class Exploring Computer Science our middle school students are being given another career and community opportunity to better their own education. In class students are going to be asked to problem solve and utilize team work to create and construct programs and robotic aspects. The Microbit programming boards are fantastic ways to teach my students about coding, patterns and sequence. And by giving each student their own workbook it allows them to take ownership of their projects. I want my students to succeed and feel confident in the skills they will learn in my Computer Science class. Of course, as a teacher I will need to have resources to learn as well. That is why I have asked for coding and robotics books for my classroom library.
