Currently, we don't have a carpet or basic Literacy and Math Center Activities, in our classroom. It is very hard for my students to learn because they have to sit on a hard floor. Whenever we have to gather together. First grade students need lots of Hand -On Activities to help them Master fundamental skills.The materials requested will provide students with a hands on experience to learn how to strengthen their Reading, Math, and Writing skills. These fundamental skills are important for 1st graders and hands on practice is key. Students will be able to learn through rigor and hopefully apply skills learned into their everyday life. I am very thankful to whomever is willing to fund these materials for my students. It will help students reach the highest level of success throughout the School Year. We will have the opportunity to learn and grow together in fun and innovative ways. I look forward to possibly receiving these materials.
