The light covers will help create a relaxing and calming environment for students. This will help calm their minds and get them ready to learn science and social studies in my classroom. Some of my students do not have a relaxing home environment and the light filters will help give them a calming environment at school. The flexible seating gives them the option to learn in a way that helps them feel most comfortable. It helps them engage the curriculum while they are comfortable which will help them to connect more with the rigorous nonfiction reading of science and social studies.
