The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my science classroom. When students enter my classroom, they will use the white boards to answer science questions. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. I have asked for markers and black socks. The socks are used as erasers. The mesh bag will be used to transport the socks home to wash. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The science textbook is online complete with many engaging and interactive lessons. The durable headphones will allow students to work quietly and independently. I use a PowerPoint as I instruct almost every day. The PowerPoint clicker will allow me to walk around the room as I teach highly engaging lessons. During a hands-on lab, I can click to the next slide anywhere in the room. The commercial pencil sharpener will allow students to have nice, sharpened pencils to use for learning. The headset splitter cable will allow me to hook my iPod into the classroom speaker system. I like to play classical music when students are working quietly to help set a nice learning atmosphere. The 4 port USB hub allows for my iPod, iPad, etc. to hook into my Mac computer all at the same time. Then, I can play music, show what is on the iPad on the projector screen while I instruct. This is a highly engaging way to teach that really allows for students to engage and stay on task.
