As kinder teachers, our goals is to build children with a deep love of learning. This requires both group work and independent and individualized learning. Our children are being forced to make a huge transition in Kinder. Many of them did not have access to preschool or any structured education before this year. We are seeing that more than anything, our children need time and space to be themselves and get individualized attention. This requires a lot of time and preparation in the school environment. Our classrooms lack shelving that is appropriate for our 5 year olds. They cannot reach the higher shelves and we are attempting to set up stations to fit every child's needs. The emotional needs require time and energy and creativity from our kinder teachers. With your help, we would like to supply ALL THREE Kinder teachers with a beautiful new shelf that is appropriate for 5 year olds. This will be filled with the beautiful and engaging materials we are creating and purchasing for our students. Please consider donating! It, is a big ask, and it will benefit an entire grade level of students every year for the lifetime of the shelf!
