A rug would help make my classroom more comfortable for my students! We spend so much of the day on the floor- from the very beginning of the day with morning meeting, to countless group projects, classroom talks, students enjoy doing their independent work on the floor as well, and then we always end the day back at circle time on the floor. A rug would make all of these activities and more enjoyable and comfortable for my students! We spend some much of our time at school and unfortunately many of my student go home to less than perfect circumstances, a rug would help them have a nice, safe place they can be themselves while they are at school.
