Every student-athlete loves using new equipment as the new season approaches. Intrinsic motivation is a huge part of athletics, but so is extrinsic motivation. Sometimes the simplest things make such a big difference! Being at a low-income school, these students are used to dealing with below average equipment, but I they deserve a fair chance at learning the game of basketball with adequate equipment like backpacks. Traveling at least once a week can be stressful on student athletes. Having these new backpacks can help take some of that stress away. Please help me make even the slightest difference in these kids lives!
