The materials that I am requesting will help my students with their morning transition to school. All of the materials will have their own tub and will be shared with 2-3 students of their choice to help with social-emotional learning in a fun way. I play relaxing music (The Piano Guys) as they enter, and their excitement builds when they can actually play, create, and build even for a short time. Having these materials would help my students to have options to fit their mood for starting their morning. As the teacher, being able to give positive compliments on their playing, building, learning, sharing, etc. first thing in the morning helps to set us up for a successful and calm day. These morning work tubs will be a refreshing replacement for morning worksheets.
