Pillows are easily portable and create a comfy space for kids to read. I want students to love reading and when they're comfortable it helps build reading stamina. These are large pillows so two students could share a pillow as they share a story together. Anything I can do to help my students fall in love with reading will help! Lamps eliminate the need for overhead fluorescent lighting being used all day long. Using lamps to create indirect lighting helps make for a calm classroom where students feel more at ease. I hope to create a space of calm and welcome so students can do their very best!
