My STLP team has decided to create a documentary for their regional project with the goal of making it to the state competition and then...fingers crossed!..nationals! We have several documentary projects in mind this year! The 7th grade creates a Living Museum of the Harlem Renaissance and the 7th/8th math teacher creates a Pi Day music video every year. With this in mind, the students are planning to create two separate documentaries recording these events. In a world where more and more people are foregoing reading the daily newspaper, the students also have made it their goal to create a school newspaper for the community to read! This camera and video camera will allow them to capture and film all the important events throughout the school year for their news articles, which they can also use for their STLP projects as well.
