We use our rug for everything. It is a place where we come together as a class and as a whole. We use our rug for morning messages, block area and story time. We use the rug for large group activities such as hot potato, free dance, yoga, music and movements and countless other activities. Our current rug is over 10 years-old and is falling apart. We also need new markers so we can create beautiful works of art. We use our markers to create coffee filter art by coloring the filters and dripping water on them to watch them blend.
