Our students in the 2nd-4th grade come into the library for specials rotation. Their class visits the library every 5 days. When they are in the library I want to make them as comfortable as possible. Reading for fun is key to this project. My goal is for them to enjoy reading to self silently. Having a comfy place to sit will help them settle into the routine. Our school believes in reading for learning and for fun! Our school has an after-hours program for students to stay after school to read and finish class work. Students in this program also have time for personal reading. A quiet comfy seat will help them stay focused after school!
