My students work HARD! We love math and we are killing it! Our scores showed fantastic growth last year and as a community we are strong. What we are not, is rich. It is with great sadness that I report that my classroom projector has gone to electronic heaven. I worry that without a working projector to provide examples and information to my students, I am wasting SO MUCH time where we could be learning, by having to write everything, erase it, write it again, etc... It is unfortunate that this essential classroom device isn't in our budget this year, but we have had a rash of dying electronics, as they are all about the same age. I will be so grateful if we could lift this burden together.
