Our students are usually required to complete assignments in their classrooms and afterwards, and then turn the assignment over so it can be assessed by the teacher. Students may see this assignment graded and then it is placed in the corresponding student's portfolio for future reference. Because of this common practice, the students are rarely able to take home copies of their own work. As a technology teacher I want to be able make sure that our students are able to learn and keep track of their progression. This printer would be very helpful for us because it would allow me to print out copies of the students' assignments for them to keep. This way, our students feel closer to a sense of purpose in regards to learning when they see what they are capable of.
