I teach Advanced Placement Calculus and Physics courses. These subjects require a lot of symbols that are difficult to type. Physics also requires a lot of sketches and vector diagrams. I like to run a highly collaborative classroom; however, in the current distance learning environment students are not able to effectively or efficiently share their work without a tool to write digitally. These tablets will allow students to show there work digitally just like they would on paper or whiteboards in the live classroom. Beyond this year these tablets will allow for me and students to have virtual study groups even when live, face to face, school resumes.
