Our students are from culturally diverse backgrounds. Not all of our families have a washer and dryer in the home. Our families are having to choose between food on their table or clean clothes on their backs. I'm requesting a Samsung washer and dryer which will be used to wash our students' clothes. Having clean clothes will help the students with their self-esteem. This will give them the opportunity to wash their children’s clothes for school. The students will be able to focus on their work and not worry about anyone laughing about their appearance. A child’s appearance is one of the first things that they are often bullied for and one of the main things that they do not have control over.
