My art classes rotate every 9 weeks. They are energetic and enthusiastic about the projects they create in art. My classes have a diverse mix of learning abilities and special needs. Their ability to adapt and overcome any obstacle is inspiring. They are creative, caring and intelligent beings. These students help each other and participate willing in the activities. They display respect for all materials and supplies and willingly clean up and assist others in the room. I am proud of the way they pull together and treat one another with equality. Even though our tightly knit community of students face many hardships every day, including poverty, they come in ready to learn, try and excel. Their attitudes are positive and their joy is contagious. They face their fears and revel in their accomplishments. This worthy group of students would love to invest their talents and skills into this amazing art form.
