The option to have flexible seating when working with students in small groups or around the classroom, means that they can choose their seating option. The wobble stools will also allow many students I work with the options to wiggle safely during instruction, small group, and independent learning times. I have seen the benefit of students being able to sit, but move during classroom times. They are more focused and engaged when they can wiggle and wobble freely in their seat. I have worked with many students and know many student with ADD or other sensory movement needs. The wiggle or wobble seat offers just the right fidget type movement most students need. My regular classroom chairs are often used as rockers by so many of my students, but that is dangerous for them and other students. A wobble stool will give those that need the opportunity the ability to rock when they need to in a much safer seating option.
