My students are willing to push themselves to gain more knowledge. Because the school year had already started and I work at a Title I school, the projectors or monitors have been taken for other classrooms. My class needs extreme visual learning technology to assist with my students' learning disabilities. One of my students requires 100% visual aids to understand and learn math and verbal communication. We will use the monitor for numerous interactive computer lead communication programs. She will be able to develop her ability to communicate by a program that will allow her to talk with pictures and commands. Another student works well with hand over hand instruction. She will be able to follow my visual instructions from me using a USB camera and then she will follow directly along. My remanding students work in groups for reading in math. Instead of us try to find books that we have three or copies of, I can project the book with my USB camera and we can all read from one single book. Math will work with great opportunities to direct instruction and hand over hand. It will mean the world to my classroom to give them a tool that will push them to a greater chance of finding success. Please help donating one of the best teaching tools for a special education classroom. My class of amazing students is eight and we will use this tool to build math skills, reading skills, and comprehension. Along the way will be used to develop social skills so that they can be the best they can be at school and elsewhere.
