My students need basic supplies in order to succeed in the classroom. Being in my first year of teaching, I have not accumulated many of the basic supplies my students will need in order to be the best learners they can be. That's where you come in! Each supply on my list will help my students get the most out of their experiences in my classroom, and help me set up a learning environment that is safe, comfortable, and collaborative. Poster paper will be used in group activities where students will work together to mind-map ideas and concepts to come to deeper understandings. Dry erase boards will be used in order to engage all students in activities that will allow me to check their current understanding. Composition books will be used so students can write daily and see their progress as they grow throughout the year. A fuzzy saucer chair will serve as the place where students can go to calm down, relax, or take a brief break to ready themselves for more learning. Each donation would mean the world to me and my 150+ students! Thank you for helping me help my students.
