Funding for this project would provide me with a tool to be both successful in the classroom and in my coursework. It’s important to me to be my best self for my students and to be able to apply all that I’m learning at Relay in my classroom. I also project a number of assignments and activities on to our white board to ensure that the content I’m teaching is visually accessible to all students. The goal of this project is to support and enhance my practice and provide me with the tools to be successful both in and outside the classroom. Access to this laptop will improve the lives of my students by engaging them in the lesson, and helping them to synthesize and retain more information. This will allow students to interact with texts and content in a more meaningful way. The skills obtained will help them to pass their various Regents Exams, increase their stamina, and deepen their critical thinking.
