These books will provide variety and cultural diversity for my students to enjoy in our classroom library. The books will be added to the classroom library with a label of "Superhero Fans', and Non-Fiction chapter books. The mystery set will be labeled "Who has a clue?" to excite students about our Mystery unit! The book baggies will be used during our Reader's Workshop so that all students can hold their books to read for the week in their favorite reading spot as well as to take home. When students have access to special interest books and books they can connect with they are more likely to grow into a lifelong love of reading! The addition/subtraction game will be used during indoor recess to help boost fluency which leads to multiplication and division in the Math curriculum The colored tape will be used both to separate objectives on the whiteboard for Reading, Writing, Math, and Social Studies objectives. They will also be used to create in/outboards​ that keep track of students throughout the day(bathroom, nurse, etc..) The more they read, the higher their vocabulary and comprehension across all subject areas.
