Lab materials are expensive but labs are critical to providing full, immersive learning experiences in STEM. Instead of theory only, students will be able to experiment and produce data/results themselves with your support. High school students will learn [research] laboratory techniques in various science and engineering disciplines, which does not happen often at the secondary level. Students will have the unique opportunity to gain research and experimentation skills in high school, providing an advantage over those who do not get the chance to perform research until college or until they enter their careers/industry.

About my class
