For years, my mother taught 3rd grade and supplied me (a high school math teacher) with the remnants of her class's markers at the end of each year. I designed a set of worksheets that make a picture when you solve math problems and color them accordingly. It started with an Imaginary Number Thanksgiving Turkey and has grown to a Trigonometric Parrot. Unfortunately, my mother passed away 3 years ago and I have lost my role model and used marker provider. I have found that high schoolers prefer Sharpies and they also make the best pictures, so I am looking to provide my students with these and a place to store them.
