I’d like for my classes to create visuals and graphics to help them understand the English language. A dynamic classroom where students are immersed in the language helps learners retain and use the language rather than just remember it. Manipulatives in the class that are consumable are crucial to helping language learners visualize the intricacies of language and appreciate the beauty of the spoken and written word. Perhaps even more crucial, the colored pencils, markers and other supplies requested will assist students in the immediate acquisition of the language so they can begin navigating through life and an education system that requires language learners to master at least three lexicons while the regular student is focused mostly on just academic vocabulary.
