Having a calm and comfortable space for community building activities, morning meetings, and mini lessons, is necessary for any classroom. In moving to a new classroom this year, I've lost this space. Having a clean, new carpet, as well as pillows, will allow students greater comfort when paying attention during these crucial times. Providing students with a nice place when sitting on the floor allows them to relax and better focus on the lesson. Distinguishing this place with a clean, bright carpet allows for faster transitions and better communication about what space students are expected to gather in. Thank you for your consideration
