These Chromebooks will give my students the ability to use technology to research and learn about the world and different cultures. In addition students will learn to use technology safely under supervision. This project will make a great difference in their education, as they can also practice reading and comprehension, and apply their math skills in solving real world problems. The products that I selected will in addition help them learn keyboarding skills that are necessary in writing and specifically testing. Learning to use technology in the classroom will prepare students for higher learning and career choosing as they will be able to begin researching and use their investigation skills under the supervision of someone who is invested in their learning and their future. I addition, I selected a set of whiteboards. We use whiteboards daily and throughout the day. The set of whiteboards they presently use, they inherited from other generations and are worn out. The set is homemade from a shower wall. I have witnessed how appropriate use of technology has exited students in seeing the world, and enhanced their education experience. Acquiring these Chromebooks will make them world travelers from their classroom, and give them an insight into use to technology in their education.
