Most of my students have autism spectrum disorder and are sensitive to sensory input. Bright colors can be overstimulating to my students. My current classroom has room dividers and chairs that are very bright. Also, the room dividers are breaking and will consistently fall down or require mending with tape. When the students are overstimulated, they have a difficult time participating in the class and learning. The room dividers help create a barrier between areas in the room so the children know where they can go at certain times. Also, the cube chairs enable the children to participate at group times by giving them their own space to sit in. These materials are essential in helping my students learn to the best of their ability. I need your help to provide my students with the best learning environment they can have!
