Students will be able to use materials during small group center rotations and in place of traditional pencil and paper morning work. Students will also be given STEM challenges where they will have to build or create to solve problems. Students will also learn to work together through play. Students will use these new materials to creatively build while strengthening their fine motor skills while learning to cooperate and get along with peers. Strengthening fine motor skills will help with handwriting, coordination and drawing pictures. Building through play and completing STEM challenges will also strengthen my students' logical thinking and problem solving skills.
