If this project is funded, I can help support my students in choosing a book early on in the school year that will excite them. One of the most important components of growing student's reading skills is connecting them with books that inspire them. Students need to be able to see themselves in books, and your donations will help all of my students personally connect to a story of their choice. I have seen first hand how moved and inspired students get when they find a book that they can personally connect to. Your donations will help inspire students to become lifelong readers and agents of their own story.
