With these materials, each of my students will be able to receive his or her own at-home learning kit! Each kit will contain an interactive whiteboard with a hundreds-chart, ten-frames, and number lines, a Write & Wipe answer board, and a set of 15 fun counters. When each student has these materials, I will be able to teach hands-on lessons through which students enjoy gaining a strong understanding of the counting sequence, addition and subtraction within 20, and place value. Rather than simply watching me demonstrate a concept, I will be able to direct students to complete tasks using their own materials at home. The math books will provide an engaging way for students to visualize how we can utilize math skills in the real world.
