The items I have selected will help to make my classroom a comfortable and accessible learning environment for my students. Many of my students have vision impairments, sensory needs, and issues with fine motor skills. They also need materials that are adapted for their particular learning needs and physical abilities. The items I’ve selected for the classroom will support these students by making lessons more accessible and engaging. Having a cozy area for students and flexible seating options will be beneficial for students who need to stretch out and take a break from sitting in their wheelchairs throughout the school day.
