Students in my Apparel classes are required as part of the curriculum to do market research and make items to sell. By funding materials for vinyl and embroidery machines students, will learn an important skill as well as be able to offer personalized items to their customers. We have owned a embroidery machine for quite some time, but have not had the resources to purchase thread and tear away stabilizer. Therefore, our students have not gotten the opportunity to use this important piece of equipment. The vinyl machine would give students an chance to try their hand at graphic design techniques, as well as teach them how to personalize their apparel projects with quotes, monograms, and names.

About my class
