Having a comfortable environment is key to learning! Flexible seating will give my students the ability to read and work around the room. Sitting at a desk all day is not ideal. My students would love to have comfortable options to use around the classroom. The fluorescent lighting in our classroom is harsh. It causes headaches and is particularly bothersome to my students who have anxiety. Using light covers will help much more than trying to work with only some of the lights turned on! In addition, students love structure and predictability, and the organizational tools I have chosen will help provide that.
