My students will use these books when they write. In first grade, we write all the time. We write words, sentences, and whole paragraphs. Writing is hard and some students get stuck on how to spell a word. When they get stuck, they can look into the Words I Use When I Write booklets and find commonly spelled words. There are also blank lines to write other words. These books make writing more exciting! In the beginning of the year, I will write the word they want to spell. Toward the end, they write the word and come to me to check it. I hope to be able to provide my students with these awesome booklets for writing.
