My students, as well as the Food Science students, will work together to grow, harvest, and cook this project. They will be learning the importance of agriculture and also learning the process that takes place to get the food they eat every day. They will also have a very satisfying experience being able to watch their project grow and turn in to a successful meal. We will start our project with seeds in starter trays. Once the plugs get large enough we need growing media and pots to plant them in. The students will closely monitor and record the plants' progress. Once the products are finished the students will harvest and take the food to the food science teacher to prepare it.
