My students only have traditional chairs to sit on during instructional time. They gravitate towards my self-made milk crate seats and yoga mats when they are reading independently. Therefore, I believe that wobble stools will give my students an additional option to have when participating in instructional activities. My students have a lot of energy that needs to be channeled into productivity, wobble stools being one avenue. Wobble stools will allow my students to exert their extra energy while sitting during instruction without getting distracted or fidgeting. I aspire to have full flexible seating in my classroom, and this would be a stepping stone to this goal.
