In today's classroom, technology is essential. I am very fortunate to have received a cart full of Chromebooks for all of my students. My students are fearless when it comes to technology. Their little fingers went right to work. They created an alphabet book in Google Slides, a sun shade STEM project using Google Draw, and wrote stories in Google Docs. They were so excited and proud of their work. HOWEVER, they were never able to print out their projects because we don't have a classroom printer. Our school computer lab does not have a printer either. Students create beautiful projects that remain trapped in the digital world. We are in desperate need of a color printer. My students would LOVE to be able to print out their projects and showcase them in class or take them home to share with their families. When my students see their work in print, they will be highly engaged and motivated to write more as well as create more. By donating to our project, you will allow my students the opportunity to print a hard copy of their projects and keep them as a memory for years to come.
