They will be exposed to reading up-to-date articles, listen to people with different accents and watch video documentaries all in the target language. These readers deepen cultural understanding and help students to improve literacy, accuracy and fluency skills in the target language. They will be able to read independently yet collaborate in groups as they apply the information from the articles, infographics and videos to problem solve issues in their own community. Our new Generation Z has a global perspective and they enjoy being connected to their culture, their community and their world. These readings provide them the opportunities all the while enhancing their skill in a second language.
