We are requesting two HP Chromebooks. The laptops that I have selected will help my students by providing them additional learning tools and support in their interest in navigating into technology. Many of my SPED students aren't able to explore various resources, with technology because they don't have computers at home. I want my students to be able to access all the wonderful applications in reading and math for my students to increase their math and reading skills in a fun and more enjoyable approach. By having laptops specifically for my SPED students will support their learning environment in the comfort of their own classroom. Most of my students rely on public libraries or recreation centers for computer access, but those are also very limited resources. I have found that my students respond very well to technology, making them eager to learn. Creating an environment with online and blended learning will be extremely beneficial to my SPED students, giving them the opportunity to complete assignments and projects in the comfort of their own classroom.
