Our students are on the autism spectrum. They need extra tools to help the be successful. Working with clay can be very therapeutic for most of our students. We have been working with clay for a few years They enjoy themselves in class but we are lacking some essential tools needed for handbuilding projects. My students often become frustrated when rolling out coils and slabs as they have a hard time getting them consistent and even. Having these clay extruders and slab rolling kits will aid them in having pieces that will be properly constructed and therefore easier to assemble and give them a greater chance of success.
