The games and supports that were funded have been happily received by students and have supported them in feeling more comfortable and connected during their counseling sessions. In fact, with one of the comfort items that was funded (the weighted stuffed animal sloth), my students have created a poll to give him a name and are voting on it throughout this week.\r\n\r\nThe games have helped make our sessions, both individual and group, more engaging and less intimidating due to the fact that we can play a game and just talk versus solely being face-to-face and having direct conversation about problems and concerns.
