This new flexible seating option in my classroom will help students work in a collaborative group in a different seating situation than a desk or the floor. The children will have a table top to work on and at the same time they will be comfortable in a comfy seat close to the ground! Students can work at this seating station with their group during book club chats or STEM engineering activities or even writing workshop. The low to the ground seats keep kids safe! Especially kids that have a hard time sitting safely in a higher chair. Playing musical chairs in the classroom is fun! It’s motivating for children to move around to different work stations!
