On Friday we have Club Day. I started a cooking club since our school has no Family and Consumer Science Class offerings. The Club fills up fast and is popular! While the school pays for the food and eating supplies I have been toting my own single burner cooktop, pots, pans, etc. back and fourth to school. These items would greatly improve the quality and morale of the class. Our class takes place in a workroom that is not equipped with a stove for cooking. I plan to grow the club as we grow supplies so that more students can experience researching recipes, and creating foods from many cultures. Thank you.
